RADAR NAVIGATION AT MANAGEMENT LEVEL (RADAR, ARPA, BRIDGE TEAMWORK AND SEARCH AND RESCUE)

The aim of this model is to meet the mandatory minimum standards of competence for seafarers in Navigation for the Function: Maintain safe navigation through the use of information from navigation equipment and systems to assist command decision-making at the management level as specified in table A-II/2 of the STCW codeThis course is to provide training in use of radar, ARPA/TT (Automatic radar plotting AID/Target tracking) and AIS (Automatic identification system) report functions, bridge teamwork and search and rescue for trainees at the management level on ships fitted with radar equipment.
