Objektivat e kursit të trajnimit:
- Përgatitje dhe ndërgjegjësim mbi sigurinë detare;
- Përgatitje mbi detyrat e caktuara të sigurisë detare.
Ky kurs trajnimi është bërë i detyrueshëm duke filluar nga 1 janar 2014. Ata duhet të jenë në gjendje për të kryer detyrat e caktuara të sigurisë në bordin e anijes, duke përfshirë gjithashtu anti – piraterinë dhe situatat e rrëmbimeve të armatosura të anijeve. Ky trajnim përfshin njohjen e rreziqeve të sigurisë dhe kërcënimeve, inspektimet e rregullta të anijes, përdorimin e duhur të pajisjeve të sigurisë dhe ruajtjen e kushteve të përcaktuara në planin e sigurisë se anijes. Siç është përmendur në pjesën B të kodit ISPS shprehja: “me detyrat e caktuara të sigurisë “, i referohet atyre detarëve, që mbulojnë detyra dhe përgjegjësi specifike sipas Planit të Sigurisë së Anijes.
