Aim of the Position : An Animator Cruise Staff is in charge of entertaining Guests in the
various activities and promoting interactions among them during the cruise.

Embarkation details :
Contract on board our ships is 5months (+/-1 month).
Cabin to share with another person of the same sex.
Board, room & travel expenses covered by the company.
Working schedule 7/7 from 8 till 11 hours a day divide in 2/3 shifts.
Basic Gross Monthly Salary €1.239 + €225 Gross Monthly Bonus.
*STCW is a mandatory safety training that has to be completed before to embark. The course
last approx. 10 days and it has to be taken in presence in the same country of your passport.
EG : if you own Italian Passport the course must be done in Italy.

Main Responsibilities
Interact with Guests during the cruise to promote the entertainment activities.
Involves Guests in animation activities to promote socialization and interaction paying special
attention to eliminate/diminish language barriers.
Organizes the animation activities to fit Guest expectations and needs.
Manages Guest complaints taking direct action or addressing them to the Chief Adult
Animator or to the relevant department to provide a fast and effective solution.
Could collaborate in other activities held by the Entertainment Department and when needed
with other departments in accordance with the Entertainment working schedule.
Participates in daily meetings with the Adult Animation Team in order to plan and organize
the working activities.

Job Requirements:
Secondary school (Languages or Tourism is a plus)
Enthusiastic, creative and good communication skills, at ease with public speaking.
Problem solving oriented
Computer literate
English knowledge B1
German knowledge B1 (speaking)
Italian knowledge is an advantage
Shipboard experience is a plus
