The close relationship between leadership and teamwork is evident when communication is fluid and there is trust, commitment and speed of response in the team.The purpose of this training program is to provide participants with the levels of knowledge, skills and understanding in aspects related to leadership and teamwork, at the operational level on board a ship.This course is designed to meet the requirements for training, based on Regulation II/1, III/1, III/6; Section A-II/1 and A-III/1, A-III/6 and Table A-II/1, A-III/1 and A-III/6 of the International Convention on standards of training, certification and Watchkeeping for seafarers, 1978, as amended.Knowing what to do, when to do it and do it well, saves a life; thus, avoiding complications and minimizing the risks of danger and pollution at sea. This being, clearly the essence of all seafarers who are on the high seas.That is why the structure of the course has been developed, seeking that the participant is competent and has the appropriate aptitude to develop the skills, abilities and perform within their tasks and functions on board.
