We're delighted to make you aware that recently the Panama Maritime Authority, through the RESOLUTION No. DGGM-032-2018, signed by the General Director, have recognized and approved the company TSTS Group in Albania, as an official broker for the certification process (Seaman's book, Endorsements, STCW10), through Consulate of Panama in London that approves the applications.

From now on, we'd assist you in processing a Panama Seaman book in the shortest possible time.

A Seaman Book is a continuous record of a seaman’s service. This document certifies that the person holding is a seaman as per The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers (STCW), 1978, as amended 1995 and 2010.

Every seafarer must carry this document while on board, which is also an official and legal record of his sea experience. The master of the vessel signs the document each time a seaman is signed off from the vessel certifying his experience on board. This is one of the most important document while a seaman is travelling on board. Remember when a person hold this document, he/she is called a ‘Seaman’.

Passport, STCW-2010 certification and a Seaman Book are considered essential travel documents for Seafarers. It is important to note that the Seaman Book is a mandatory document, for any port-of-entry that require a crew transit visa.

As soon as we receive the file and payment, we will start the application process. Then, we will issue a Temporary Certificate (CT) valid for three (3) months (not renewable), which entitles the applicant to be fully able to work on board while the Full Term Panama Certificate of Competency (CoC) – valid five (5) years – will be under process.

Before the CT is expired, you will receive your Full Term Coc, by express courier.

We will process applications for the issuance of Temporary certificate ONLY when we will receive all the documents required.

Otherwise, it is considered that the application is DEFICIENT ; the statutory documents required will not be issued within the stipulated 3 months, which may bring inconvenience to users and ship owners.

For any additional info on this process or to start your application we invite you to send us an email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
